As we all continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, VSP Global® remains committed to supporting you and your practice today, tomorrow, and into the weeks and months ahead.
We know the impacts on practices are wide-ranging and far-reaching. Many of you are having to make difficult business decisions, while at the same time juggling the needs of your patients with urgent eye care issues or who can’t see without the critical eyewear you provide. The care you are providing is more important than ever, and I thank you for your dedication.
We also know you need to keep the lights on in your practice and we’re working to bring you tangible tools and resources that will help to make a practical difference. With this in mind, we’re making some immediate changes designed to support your business with more on the way. Here’s what we can share today:
- CHECK-IN WAIVED: Effective immediately, practices participating in the VSP Global Premier Program will keep their current status and benefits through the end of the year. Practices will be able to move up in tiers but not down during this time.
- EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR ALL: We’re accelerating efforts to bring all network practices free resources to help your business now and in the future through the Premier Academy360 education and training program. In the coming days, look for educational resources on topics ranging from how to apply for Small Business Association loans, to leadership and financial management. Also, be sure to watch our webinar: "Optometry
and Telemedicine During COVID-19” tomorrow as an important revenue-generating topic.
More support is on the way. We have a diverse team focused on bringing resources designed to help you generate near-term cash flow, while also helping your practice prepare to return to normal business operations, and what we believe will be a surge of patients looking to you for their eye care and eyewear needs. As more information becomes available, we’ll share with you as quickly as possible.
We want to emphasize our unwavering support for your practice and for each of you personally. Our sincere hope is to alleviate some of the uncertainty you are facing in business, now and in the future, so you can concentrate on what matters most – helping your patients live better lives.
Our teams are available and committed to working with you through this unsettling and unprecedented time. We’ll continue to provide updates on new opportunities and developments through weekly communications, the VSP Provider Facebook page, and our dedicated
VSP Provider Resource Portal.
